Daily Science Fiction :: Looking for a Knight in Shining Armor by Sylvia Spruck Wrigley
Foreign Flavours Anthology now available
My short story, Excerpt from The Geusian Ladies Society Food InfoManual, is included in this charity anthology by the Writers Abroad online writing group.
“The anthology takes as its theme food, drink and recipes from around the world. It is a tantalizing collection of fiction and non-fiction, full of spice and flavour and sprinkled with mouth-watering recipes. The wide-ranging, sometimes bittersweet, contributions show how adaptable an ex-pat has to be to leave familiar dishes behind and venture into the culinary unknown.”
The anthology is available on Lulu now: Foreign Flavours by Writers Abroad in Literature & Fiction. All proceeds will go to The Book Bus.

Short Fiction: Parabola
I thought I’d post a snippet of steampunk for your delight and delectation. This piece was inspired by the Forgotten Futures story contest in New Scientist. You can hear me reading it on my blog: Can’t Backspace ยป Short Fiction: Parabola. It took me all day to get the recording to work with my iPhone so if no one listens to it, I might cry. Just sayin’.
